Take the example of Jetting Systems, an innovative company based in Downton (near Salisbury, Wiltshire).
Jetting Systems is a growing company that specialises in manufacturing highly complex water jet systems for runway clearance. From their base in Downton, Jetting Systems manufactures and exports all over the world, with clients in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
Jetting Systems came to us with a problem. As demand for their highly-specialised equipment surged, a period of high growth was about to begin. They recognised that their current IT environment would not cut it and would restrict their growth. They were using on-site servers and PCs that were reaching end of life. They also had no tools in place to allow seamless collaboration between their team members, many of whom were often out of country delivering to new customers. Furthermore, they did not have the IT staff in place to support their environment.
Jetting Systems enlisted the help of entrustIT and after a consultancy process which allowed us to learn exactly how the team at Jetting Systems conducts their business, we had a clear picture of what tools they would need to do their best work.
The team at entrustIT recommended Office 365 Business Premium and a hardware refresh consisting of new Microsoft Surface Pro devices. This combination provided Jetting Systems with the mobility they required in order to keep up with their travelling teams, whilst also allowing them to expand the life of the hardware they already had in place, such as their servers.
The impact was immediate. Jetting Systems were now able to collaborate on documents simultaneously wherever their teams happened to be. The teams were also able to share documents in the cloud using OneDrive for Business and access their key documents on any internet connected device.
The entrustIT team were closely present throughout the entire project, and continue to provide ongoing support to ensure that their Office 365 environment is working as smoothly as possible at all times.
