entrustIT x DWM Company Day 2026
On Friday 2 October we held our 2026 Company Day, entrustIT x DWM, at Thorpe Park. We spent the morning and early afternoon on strategy, followed by an afternoon and evening in the park for anyone who wanted to join us. It was an excellent opportunity to bring our team together from our four regional offices across the UK, in Ringwood, Bedford, Aldershot and East Grinstead.
One Team, One Room
Around 65 of us filled the room, and the theme was "One Team, One Room". Our CEO opened with the thinking behind the group and where we're heading. Customers want their cabling, cameras, access control, networks and cloud to work together, and they want one team to call when something needs fixing. That is what being a converged technology provider means for the people who deliver it every day.

Our Commercial Director talked about how the different parts of the group work together, and our CTO took us through the platforms, the projects and the changes coming over the next year, including how AI and security are shaping our work. We also went back over our five values: trustworthy, adaptable, friendly, dependable and tenacious.
Then it was Community Champions, which gives anyone in the group time off and funding to back a cause they care about.
We closed the sessions with Ask the Execs, where anyone could put a question to the leadership team, either anonymously or openly on the day. It's one of the most useful parts of Company Day, and the questions are always worth hearing.

Afternoon in The Park

In the afternoon we headed to Thorpe Park. People split into groups and spent the rest of the day on the rides, including Hyperia, Stealth and the water rides, with families joining in too. It was a great bit of adrenaline to finish off the company day. The park stayed open until 9pm for those who stayed on.

Why we do it
DWM became part of entrustIT in December 2025, and since then the aim has been for the whole group to feel like one organisation, including the people who have joined since. We're spread across four offices, and most of the time we work together through a screen, so a day like this is how we get to know the people behind the email address.
Inviting families made a real difference. As one of our team put it: "[It's] nice when you go home and talk about your day that family actually relate to the people and have met them."
Our Group CEO, Jeff Dodd, said: "It was brilliant to have so many of the group, and some of our families, together in one place. We've always wanted to build a company with the feel of a local business, and days like this are a big part of that."
Thank you to everyone who came and made it such a good day, and to the people who organised it. Thanks also to the team at Thorpe Park for looking after us.
