entrustIT joins Dorset Chamber of Commerce

entrustIT is pleased to announce that we have joined the Dorset Chamber of Commerce. This marks a strong commitment to one of our key regions and a new closer relationship with the local economy.

With a head office on the Hampshire-Dorset border and a growing customer base in the region, entrustIT has always been deeply tied with the county, and we are glad to have joined this thriving chamber of commerce.

Commenting on the news, Thomas Dodd, Commercial Director at entrustIT said: "We've seen a lot of growth in our local area since 2022. Despite economic headwinds, Dorset's economy is growing and there is plenty of investment. The time felt right to cement our commitment to this region and support our local chamber of commerce."

Dorset boasts a significant economy, with £8.45 billion GVA and 145,000 jobs. Key sectors include advanced engineering, manufacturing, defence, and security. With Dorset Chamber involved in strategic development, supporting new investment, the county is expected to continue to expand under growth plans through to 2029.

Following impressive growth of 18.3% in FY 2024/5 - entrustIT seeks to play our part in the development of the region and will look to support the chamber through a period of expansion by being a strong voice on technological change, modern work and AI innovation.

entrustIT will also continue to support growth in our local customer base, which includes Solent 250 listed Bourne Group, Sydenhams, and Knights Brown, as well as national companies with a local presence, such as Harvey Jones Kitchens, and Burhill Group.

As entrustIT continues its growth in Dorset and the wider Solent region, we are excited about the future of this new partnership and are eager to contribute to the economic development of the county.
