An Insightful Day at with the Business Magazine and Herrington Carmichael LLP in Farnborough

On the 18th of September, we had the distinct privilege of representing our organisation at the esteemed South East Tech Leaders' Roundtable, hosted at law firm Herrington Carmichael LLP in Farnborough. This gathering brought together some of the brightest minds in the South's tech industry, offering a fertile ground for the exchange of ideas, innovations, and insights.

The panel included business leaders from Fintech, Greentech, Life Sciences, Tech Recruitment, and Managed Services and covered a broad range of critical topics such as:

• The importance of building clusters of talent and capital to collaborate and innovate together
• Building a competitive, no-blame culture that fosters new ideas and empowers staff to try new technology
• Strategies to increase funding and investment in the tech sector
• How expected upcoming tax changes will impact investment and growth in this region and beyond

Thomas Dodd, Commercial Director of entrust IT Group, who was present on the day comments: "Technology is a huge enabler for business growth. However, accelerating adoption of new innovations such as Artificial Intelligence is difficult unless our industry does a better job of helping users to understand how to use them. This is why I'm here today, together with other leaders we can help lay fertile ground for growing the South's digital economy - and therefore the wider one."
